journalists Christine Pelisek and Jill Stewart, discussing “How I Got
the Story,” and their fascinating account of the Grim Sleeper serial
killer coverage at the Los Angeles Weekly.
Pelisek, who recently moved to The Daily Beast, and Stewart, news editor of L.A. Weekly,
will talk about the three years they worked together as reporter and
editor on a series of stories about the Grim Sleeper, who Pelisek
doggedly tracked — sometimes knowing even more clues than the cops.
